Dear Sir or Ma'am:
The 166th Regimental Mess, PA National Guard will be holding its 4th annual Golf Tournament on 8 September, 2006 at the Blue Mountain Golf Course in Fredericksburg, PA. The past few years have been very busy for the military and as such, have left us little time for fundraising efforts to support our charitable events. Past efforts have helped us in providing an Easter egg hunt, sponsoring a youth summer camp, Lunch with Santa for local underprivileged youth and the addition of a Scholarship Essay contest. Your assistance in this effort is requested. We are in search of a variety of sponsors to include:
$500 Lunch Sponsor: Sponsors will have their company name and logo prominently displayed during the lunch activity as well as given special recognition in the Tournament Flyer. In addition, this level of sponsorship is eligible for 2 free registrations into the tournament should you desire to enter a team.
$200 Cart Sponsors: Sponsors will have their company name and logo prominently displayed on the carts used during the event as well as given special recognition in the Tournament Flyer. In addition, this level of sponsorship is eligible for 1 free registration into the tournament should you desire to enter a team.
$150 Beverage Center Sponsors: Sponsors will have their company name prominently displayed at the beverage center throughout the day as well as given special recognition in the Tournament Flyer. In addition, this level of sponsorship is eligible for 1 free registrations into the tournament should you desire to enter a team.
Hole Sponsors: $100 for full hole sponsorship or $50 for half hole sponsorship;
* Sponsor will have their company name, and logo if provided, on a 12"X18" display at one of the holes as well as recognition in the tournament flyer.
We are also looking for donors for our raffle to be conducted after the lunch meal. Suggested items would be sports items, shirts/hats, business logo items, and services of your business or gift certificates.
Sponsors are invited to play in the tournament should you desire. Please keep in mind we are limited to 32 teams. Deadline for entry into the tournament is September 1 or until 32 teams are entered. If interested in playing, please contact one of the co-chairmen for an entry form.
We sincerely hope you will help us in our endeavor. If you should have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at the below listed phone numbers. If you do decide to sponsor this event, please make any checks payable to the 166th Regimental Mess. Please contact one of the co-chairmen to advise him of your donation so that your business can be added as soon as possible to our flyer.
